  7. FILZIP VERSION 3.02 END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

  10. IMPORTANT-READ CAREFULLY: This Filzip End-User License Agreement
  11. ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or
  12. a single entity) and the Author of the SOFTWARE identified above.
  13.

  16. 1. GRANT OF LICENSE.  The Author grants you a limited, non-exclusive,
  17. non-transferable, royalty-free license to use the executable code of
  18. the SOFTWARE on your computer as long as the terms of this agreement
  19. are respected.

  21. 2. DISTRIBUTION.  You are hereby licensed to make copies of the
  22. SOFTWARE as you wish; give exact copies of the original SOFTWARE to
  23. anyone; and distribute the SOFTWARE in its unmodified form via
  24. electronic means (Internet, BBS's, Shareware distribution libraries,
  25. CD-ROMs, etc.). You may charge a distribution fee for the package,
  26. but you must not represent in any way that you are selling the
  27. SOFTWARE itself. Your distribution of the SOFTWARE will not entitle
  28. you to any compensation from the Auhtor.  You must distribute a copy
  29. of this EULA with any copy of the SOFTWARE and anyone to whom you
  30. distribute the SOFTWARE is subject to this EULA.

  32. 3. MAINTENANCE. The Author is not obligated  to  provide maintenance
  33. or updates for the SOFTWARE. However,  any  maintenance  or updates
  34. provided by The Author shall be covered by this Agreement.

  36. 4. TERMINATION. Without prejudice to any other rights, the Auhtor may
  37. terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and
  38. conditions of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies
  39. of the SOFTWARE.

  41. 5. COPYRIGHT. The SOFTWARE is protected by copyright laws and
  42. international treaty provisions. You acknowledge that no title to the
  43. intellectual property in the SOFTWARE is transferred to you. You
  44. further acknowledge that title and full ownership rights to the
  45. SOFTWARE will remain the exclusive property of the Auhtor and you
  46. will not acquire any rights to the SOFTWARE except as expressly set
  47. forth in this license. You agree that any copies of the SOFTWARE
  48. will contain the same proprietary notices which appear on and in the
  49. SOFTWARE.

  51. 6. WARRANTIES. The Author expressly disclaims any warranty for the
  52. SOFTWARE. THE SOFTWARE AND ANY RELATED DOCUMENTATION IS
  53. PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER
  54. EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE
  55. IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A
  56. PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL
  57. THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM,
  58. DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF
  59. CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN
  60. CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS
  61. IN THE SOFTWARE.
